The Pyramids of Giza The Big Pyramid
The magnificent Great Pyramid of Giza was built by Pharaoh Khufu (2609 BC – 2584 BC) and was intended by his principal architect, Hemiunu, in 2570 BC to be a golden marvel of greatness. The king's tomb is the only ancient wonder left, and it's 138.5 meters tall.

The enormous Sphinx
This is one of Egypt's oldest monumental sculptures and is widely recognized around the world. The mind-blowing archaeological evidence shows that this impressive creation came into existence during the reign of Khafre (c. 2558-2532 BC) and was crafted by none other than the ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom.

Step Pyramid of Saqqara
The magnificent Saqqara Step Pyramid is the most essential building ever constructed. It was created between 2670 and 2650 BC by the brilliant chancellor, royal architect, and high priest of the god Ra Imhotep as the final resting place for Djoser because it has the first-ever complex courtyard, which had a significant impact on the development of the Giza Pyramids.

City of Memphis
The original capital of Egypt during the entire old kingdom (2700-2200 BC) was established by King Menes in the Golden City of Ptah, the deity of creation and art. Memphis, the city of white walls, and the life of the two lands were also located there.

On the third day of your Wonderful 6 Days of the Pharaohs' Journey at Christmas, you'll have your breakfast, then you'll check out of the hotel, and then we'll transport you to Cairo Airport to catch a flight to Aswan. Meet your Egyptologist guide upon arrival, and then proceed to the Aswan, beginning with:

High Dam
The miraculous Aswan High Dam was built in the middle of the 1960s and early 1970s to store floodwater from the artificial Nasser Lake and to generate power that would usher Egypt into the industrial era.

The unfinished obelisk
The giant obelisk in history that was intended to stand at the holy entrance of the Karnak temple and was shattered during the carving process is a captivating open-air museum of Queen Hatshepsut (1508-1458 BC).

Philae Temple
The enchanted Philae Temple is a celestial memorial honoring the goddess Isis of maternity and healing, who appears in many of history's most mythical tales. To commemorate the timeless myth "The Story of Osiris," the temple was erected between 380 and 362 BC during the Ptolemaic era.
By the end of the day, we will transfer you to an air-conditioned vehicle with a Respect Egypt Tours driver to check in at your hotel in aswan.

You'll have breakfast in the morning before checking out the hotel. After finding your Egyptologist, you'll take the train to Luxor. Then, you'll start this magnificent day with Respect Egypt Tours, exploring the land of pharaohs.

Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings is illuminated by 63 tombs belonging to people who lived in the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties of the New Kingdom. It is a golden underground miracle in the form of a divine labyrinth that can be found in the Theban necropolis. It has a magical entrance through the center of a hidden hill (1570 – 1050 BC).

Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon of Amenhotep III was built about 1350 BC, and throughout the Hellenistic period, they underwent numerous renovations. It stands 18 meters (60 feet) tall and showcases Hapi's accomplishments, history, and pictures. The 107 Latin and Greek inscriptions from the Roman era, carved between AD 20 and 250, are found on the two seated Amenhotep III statues.

Lunchtime, following a boat ride in the Nile River, your guide will take you to an island for lunch with a view of magic. Then we'll transfer you to check in your hotel in Luxor.

Citadel of Salah el Din
The impressive Cairo Citadel was erected as a massive defensive stronghold by Salah el Din and his dynasty between 1176 and 1183 AD, and it can dominate Cairo's skyline due to its location on the city's highest point. From the 13th until the 19th centuries, the Cairo Citadel of Salah el Din served as the political and religious hub of the Islamic world for 700 years.

Egypt's Mohamed Ali Mosque
The captivating work of art, The Mohamed Ali Mosque, will always stand as a testament to strength and independence. Because alabaster from the celestial pyramids of Giza was used in its construction, it was known as the Alabaster mosque. It was built between 1830 and 1848 AD to be a magnificent Ottoman architecture.

The National Egyptian Civilisation Museum
The National Museum of Egyptian Culture has 50,000 items and 28 mummies of different kings and queens. It helps you learn about the ancient Egyptian civilization, which lasted 5000 years.

El Muizz Street
Established between 969 and 975 AD and completely renovated in the 10th century AD, the gifted Muizz Street is one of old Cairo's most brilliant open-air museums. It offers everyone the most majestic cultural experience by exploring magical markets, vendors, cafes, and local craft shops.

Khan El Khalili Bazar
Between 1382 and 1389 AD, the Mamluk kings created the fortunate illuminated bazaar of Khan El Khalili, which today is home to some of the most skilled artists and workshop traders that reflect the 5000-year-old culture and history of ancient Egypt.
We'll end the day here and transfer you to your hotel in Cairo to check in and rest.
